A while back I made a Dwarf Fortress graphics set called GemSet. I was very proud of finishing it, but I ended up not liking the art style. Dwarf Fortress is a game that works best when your imagination is running hard and the cutesy look of GemSet got in the way of that. So last year, I started up this super-minimalistic tileset that fit the default ASCII aesthetic. It's still an ongoing project so expect some updates on that in the future.

Wow! This is some very pleasant attribute mode work! I like the level of detail, how carefully tiles are designed, maybe only the tiles which don't have one of their colours black look off, particularly what looks like a forest on the top. It would possibly have a more consistent look and feel if you stuck to black for one of the colours.

Thanks! I think you'll be pleased to know I'm still working on this, now with some higher-resolution sprites. The green tiles to the north are tree canopies and they'll make a little more sense once they're seen in-context.
